Aranci gulf
Golfo degli Aranci is the ferry terminal for the national railways. It is overshadowed by the impressive promontory of Capo Figari, which is covered in holm oak and juniper trees and faces the limestone island of Figarolo. The Gulf bounders with Costa Smeralda and gets its name from the words for crabs (granchi) in local dialect (”Gulfu de li ranci”).
