Chiesa di San Pietro di Sorres
The cathedral was built in a dominant position, almost like a fortress and was the diocesan centre of the Benedictine monks for two centuries. The building was constructed in basalt with a central nave and two side aisles and is a marvellous example of Pisan Romanesque architecture.
