Basilica di San Gavino
The basilica is the most important Romanesque building in Sardinia. It was built in red trachyte stone by Pisan masters and presents an unusual structure without a facade and with two opposing apses. Sarcophaguses dating back to the period of the Roman Empire were uncovered under the central nave.
