Botanical gardens

The Botanical Gardens were founded in the second half of the nineteenth century on an area covering 5 hectares. It is specialised in three sectors: Mediterranean, tropical and succulent plants. The gardens spread over a hillside which is also rich in fascinating archaeological remains, including Roman cisterns
