Città fenicio-punica di Neapolis

This settlement was founded by the Carthaginians, but was also a busy town during the Roman and Byzantine eras, up until the VII century AD. Today visitors can admire the remains of the baths (”Grandi terme”) with the early Christian church of S. Maria dei Nabui and the baths (”Piccole terme”), which are incorporated in a Byzantine “Kastron”.
