Alghero-Fertilia
The airport is situated just a few kilometres from the town. It underwent some restructuring work in 2003 and was the first airport in Sardinia to connect the island directly to London. The number of passengers passing through the airport continues to grow, and not just in summer months, thanks to the many low cost flights.
