Orgosolo
Orgosolo is the symbol of the farming culture of the Barbagia region, but in recent years it has begun to attract visitors because of the fascinating murales to be found in the historical town centre. The oldest murales date back to 1975 and were manifestos by the local youth dedicated to the resistance, the war in Vietnam and the birth of the Gennargentu park. Later, however, the artists turned their attention to the walls of the houses and themes such as Gramsci, banditry and shepherds
