Porto Cervo
This town developed in 1962 after Prince Karim Aga Khan bought up land and coastal areas in this splendid part of the Gallura region. It was originally pasture land known as “Monti di Mola” and counted about 150 inhabitants. The town, with its characteristic pastel-coloured houses and villas, is famous for its Yacht Club, the beach of Liscia Ruja, the Pevero Golf Club and, like Porto Rotondo, its “piazzetta”
