Marina di Villasimius
The tourist harbour of Marina di Villasimius is situated behind the promontory on which the Fortezza Vecchia (Old Fortress) stands. The latter dates back to 1590 and is currently used to host cultural exhibitions. It is just three kilometres from the town centre and is situated in an area noted for its marvellous beaches. It is the departure point for the south coast of Sardinia, as well as for excursions to the islands of Cavoli and Serpentara. The harbour has moorings for 740 boats of up to 25 metres long and has a maximum depth of 5 metres.
