Lago di Baratz
Lake Baratz is the only natural lake on the island. It is situated in the “Nurra” region, between the mountain known as Monte dell’Acqua and the coastal area of Porto Ferro. It is just 20 metres deep and is surrounded by a beautiful pinewood and typical Mediterranean scrub. There is also an interesting centre for environmental education, which carries out important research into the habitat, as well as bio-architectural studies
